Today is the last day of Jan 2009. Its the day no. 31 of year 2009. Time definitely past very fast. Therefore, I think everyone, including myself should spend time in a much wiser way "sometimes".

This will be my last post for Jan 2009 and also 2nd last post for CNY (My last post for CNY is suppose to be for "Chap Goh Meh")

I would like to wish those who are returning from their hometown a safe journey. Drive safely ya? :)

I will be blogging about valentine days and relationship starting tomorrow (as Valenday is just around the corner). My 11th post in Ahboochak's BLOG. Today's post is about calculation and numbers. Its the 4th day of CNY and I shall now talk about 1 of the event that every chinese is looking forward to in every chinese new year (other than angpows) which is GAMBLING !!! For us chinese, CNY ain't complete without gambling :D

We play card games like blackjack, chor-dai-dee (i don't know what is it called, can someone enlighten me?) etc.

And 1 of the chinese favourite is MAHJONG :D Mahjong is a game for 4 players that originated in China. It involves skill, strategy and calculation.

I am a very noob in mahjong, only played it less than 10 times and I find the term kinda funny.

I seriously don't understand why must they called it PONG and KONG. Can't they just called it "3 of a kind" or "4 of a kind" ? PONG and KONG reminds me so much of PING PONG and KANG KUNG. After hearing so much of it, it start reminding me of POH KONG ... -__-'

And finally, what the spoon in the world is zhi mor (self touch) ?

I hope it is not something that I have in mind .... you know ....

Weee !!! :D Its the 3rd day of Chineze "Niu" YEAR d.

I've made my CNY wish on CNY's eve,
I've talked a bit about angpau on the 1st day of CNY,
And I've touched about family reunion on the 2nd day.

So, I will touch about "Happyness" in this post. What is Chinese New Year without Happyness aight? ^_^

After posting up the video yesterday, it has made me realized that there is a group of people that don't watch TV. Hence, I've decided to put Astro Chinese New Year 2009 Song: Fa Da Chai in this post.

And what is Chinese New Year without firework aight? So, here you go !!! :D

Hows your reunion dinner? Was it great? Mine was awesome !!! Its awesome not because of the food but it was because all the family members are together, sitting on the same table and spending time together. I guess this is CNY reunion dinner main objective :D

Have you watched Petronas' Chinese New Year 2009 advert? If not, here it goes ♥

I saw this advert when I visited Bulat / Estee's house for "pai lin". After the advert finished, she said "Joey, why the advert so sad 1? Its Chinese New Year, they are not suppose to make people feel sad. It is suppose to be something HAPPY".

After hearing that statement, it got me thinking for a few seconds.

I then answered her question by saying,

Well, the reason why they makes such advertisement was because people don't appreaciate what they have. They only learn how to appreciate it once they lost it.

Seriously, the truth is hurting. A lot of people tend to make mistake and not appreciating what they have until they lost it. Once they've lost it, they tend to feel regret of what happened. I've learnt this lesson the hard way myself.

I hate to admit this, but I think I am having a mind block now. A mind block of being afraid to lose something precious in my life due to my unappreciative attitude. Therefore, I've tried to appreciate what I have more than in the past.

I've known some people who never spend time with their love ones, even on this CNY. So, please take a short moment to think if what you are doing is right or wrong.

Life is SHORT. When its TOO LATE, Sorry is NOT enough.

Keep LOVe in Your heart. A life without it is like a sunless gardens where the flowers are dead. :)

Talking about awesome-ness, my eight post in Ahboochak BLOG falls on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Hence, I would like to wish a Merry Chineze Niu Ear 2009 to everyone who is reading this :D

How is your 1st day of CNY doing? Manage to collect a lot of ang pau anot? I've receive 1 ang pau so far. So, if you received lotsa ang paus this yr, you know what to do la ha :D (for those who don't know, what i mean was to share some wif me :D)

For those who plan to go out today, I would like to inform you that there will be a solar eclipse that can be seen in Malaysia today, the phenomenon is expected to happen as early as 4.30 PM to 7 PM. :D

For those who've watched HEROES would definitely know what I am talking about and for those who couldn't bother what it is, I have a screenshot taken from Australia Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).

AND for Chinese who believe in orthodox stuff, this phenomenon is said to be a sign of bad luck as the sun is covered by the moon on first day of Chinese New Year. If you are out and witness this phenomenon (changes from bright to dark), it would give you a bad luck too. So, you decide by yourself whether you want to witness this phenomenon or just hide in the house. 6th Post - 2008 Sweet Moments (Part 1) ♥

Boo !!! :D Ha-Ha ... If you are reading this post, I want you to know that my Kluang Trip has been cancelled due to some unexpected incident.

Its saturday, Jan 24, 2009 !!! 2 More Days and it is time for all the chinese to celebrate a very merry new year :D Kong-Xi Fatt Chai Ang Pau Gibme ^o^

As i said on the earlier post, 2008 is a great year for me. There is a lot of memorable days in 2008 for me.

One of it is 10th December 2008.

I've got 3 events to attend that night and I can only make it to 2 of the events.

I will start of with an event that I couldn't make it, the event was Space Chimps Movie Premiere in Pavilion, KL. I've got 6 tickets for that and since I've a clash in events, I've given the tickets to my friends :)

I've attended Hannah Tan's Farewell Party in SOMO, Mount Kiara that night. It was a great event that I will have to write about it in a specially dedicated post on my blog in the near future :)

After Hannah Tan's farewell, I headed to Amber Chia's Birthday Party at Red Square, KL. Again, I'll have to write about this separately. Sorry ya? Don't bite me :P

The other day to remember on 2008 is definitely my BIRTHDAY celebrations !!! I've sorta celebrated my birthday 4 times this year :D

1st celebration (10 July 2008 night) was with Ms. Bulat a.k.a Estee at my house. Just the 2 of us with a small cupcake and 26 pcs of tiny candles .... romantik kan? :P

2nd celebration (11 July 2008 night - the actual date) was with the Kokorobox.Net gang in 1 of the Cafe in Seksyen 17. Thank you so much to bebee for organizing this party and all kokorians who've made this party possible.

3rd Celebration (12 July 2008 night) was with Shazzy's and gang at Carls Jr, One Utama then McDonald, Centrepoint. It was a small celebration but it is a memorable one. Thank you to Shazzy for organizing the whole thing :)

4th Celebration (26 July 2008 night) was with Neshimaru and her buddies at Pei Yong's house. Thank you Nesh for inviting me as a part of the pot luck cum birthday party.

Woah, after writing until here only I realized I've got so many memorable days in 2008 and most of it have to be elaborated in specialially dedicated post.

I'll tell you what? I will make a summary for all of it in few parts first. Then I will blog about each of it whenever the time allow k? Sorry oh ... Jangan marah at me k? I takut.

5th post on TGIF ♥♥♥

T.G.I.F = Thank God Its Friday !!! Everybody just loves friday isn't it? Its the last day of work for my of us and coincidently my 5th post is made on friday (sorta intentionally). Reason was because, I've watched 3 movies since last friday until today and I wanted to give my readers that plan to catch a movie this weekend some tips of which movie they should choose.

The first movie that I am gonna talk about is BEDTIME STORIES.

Typical fantasy family comedy kinda show from Adam Sandler with a little chick flick element. The movie is only 99 minutes. For those who is looking for a good laugh, I would recommend you to catch this show. Else, you can go for a less funny but almost the same type of movie, you can go for InkHeart.


InkHeart is another movie starred by Brendan Fraser. If you likes his movie, I would like to ask you to give this movie a try. It reminded me a about his Mummy's Series with less adventure but more fantasy element. The show is 125 mins long, catch it if you are looking for a fantasy + family + action kinda show.

The last movie that I am gonna talk about is Underworld 3: The Rise of Lycans. Its the 3rd movie from the Underworld series. This time, the movie is about flash back on the reborn of new Lycans (werewolves) and forbidden love between the vampire & werewolves. I would recommend this movie to those who loves action movie with lotsa bloods.

Summary

Bedtime Stories - B Grade Comedy

Best if you are watching it with your kids or bunch of friends.

InkHeart - B+ Grade Fantasy

Recommended for those who are watching with kids, friends, GF or a date.

Underworld - Rise of the Lycans - D Grade Action Movie

Watch it only if you are action movie freak or Underworld Fan (as I personally think this movie's storyline and plot are kinda boring. Other than the action, its nothing much). FYI, There is an 18SX scene in the movie which is definitely censored in Malaysia.

I am heading down to Kluang, Johor tonight and will be back in PJ tomorrow. WHY am I going to Kluang? Find out about it this coming sunday or monday. ♥

Chak chak chak ... cha-cha-cha CHAK !!! Baby language I am using :D

I think 2007 and 2008 is 2 years that I've learn the most in my whole life, 2008 especially. I've experienced a lot of things, attended lotsa events, met a lot of new interesting people and friends. I personally changed a lot within this 2 years to. I guess this is what they said as - every single single day of our life is like a blank page in our diary, every person we meet, every event we participate in is a lively essay.

I plan to blog about every events that happen in my daily life, especially in 2008. I've also plan to write about friends & people who've colored up my life, you guys are such a wonderful people that each time i thought about my last day on earth freaked me out terribly. I pray each day that I will live long enough to show how much I care and appreciated all the friendship that is given to me.


I can't name everyone of you in this post as I don't know when the list will come to an end BUT i promise, I will try my best to write about each and everyone of you when the times come k? :)

2nd post - WHY did I blog? ♥♥♥

Peek-ah-BOO !!! (that is how you say Ah-boo-chak in western way, thanks to lovely zoe for the reminder about the existance of this term)

I've known about blog since before the blog frenzy even started. The first time I heard about blogging was like, almost 5 years ago I assume?

So, what trigger me start my own blog now you may ask?

1. TIME Factor

Well, the main reason that I didn't blog in the past was because I am too busy with my daily activities (such as work & hanging out with friends) and also managing my forum - www.kokorobox.net. Hence, I can't really find a time to blog.

Anyhow, I've quitted my job as a Field Service Executive / Reseller Assistant in Cal-Lab (www.cal-lab.com) and currently self-employed. Therefore, I am able to squeeze some time to blog about 3 most magical elements in my life ( Love ♥ Friendship ♥ Memories )

I will start blogging more about these magical elements starting February 2009 and how it effect my daily life, my personality and also my character.

2. PRIVACY Factor

I am always the private type of person and I hate the feeling of being stalked :P

Its 2009, my mind told me to make something different. So, I am now giving all those who want to stalk me a chance to do so !!!

Finally, I've jumped into the blogosphere bandwagon :)

Okie, a little introduction for those who don't know me, don't know much about me and also for those who know me :D

I am Joey Tong, also known as Vinspire and just because I can't have Vinspire.blogspot.com as my blog URL, I have to settle down with Ahboochak.blogspot.com :D !!!

I am born on 11th July 1982. So, that makes me 27 yrs old this coming July 11, 2009. Oh boy, I am more than 26 yrs old item now ^o^

Anyway, I shall now explain the meaning of Ahboochak. I am sure most of you like babies aight? and for those who are born in the 80s, you should know about this simple trick to make babies smile / laugh where-by you close your face with both your hands and you say AH-BOO-CHAK and TA-DA !!! You show your face to the baby and miraculously, 8 out of 10 times, the baby smiles :D

Wee ... Nothing beat seeing a sweet smile, especially sweet fresh pure smiley from babies. It makes all the guys' heart goes warm and it melts all the girls' heart.

So, lets say ... AH-BOO-CHAK together with me YO !!! ^o^
